Actually, people tend to lose weight differently. Weight loss for some may take a long time but for others can take a very short amount of time. If she is of the type that can lose weight quickly, 6 months isn't that unrealistic. The only thing that I would say is unrealistic is the fact that she grew so much taller than before and the fact that there was no fat left over from when she was overweight. People tend to get surgery to get rid of the excess fat when they lose their weight but there's none of that in that world so ╮(￣▽￣)╭
??? Do you mean excess skin? Excess skin is different from fat. You can get surgery to remove fat, but sudden weight loss makes it’s hard for skin to rebound, so you end up having excess skin and sometimes some stretched muscle depending on the area. (￣∇￣") It’s the sucky part of losing so much weight in a short period of time. Though you can hide the appearance of excess skin with compression clothes (which I guess a corset is kind of like). That being said- it’s hard to hide signs of excess skin on the upper arms.

Yup, that's exactly what I meant tbh. Just thought of putting it in simpler terms XD. And that's the thing I found unrealistic compared to the general weight lost. But when we discuss the corset being able to cover the fat, I was thinking of more the arms and in addition, the bath scene made it look like she wouldn't have any excess skin though we don't get a clear view of her stomach area. In this case we must sadly separate reality from fiction and just accept "shoujo" beauty aesthetics apply here. Either that or the artist/author doesn't actually realize what happens when you loose that much weight (bad research). As for the comment about height, yeah I'll have to go back and look at comparisons of characters before and after once she gets close enough to the villains to do so with.
So, I went back and found some images to compare and she hasn't "grown" they're just drawing her with more lengthy proportions to make her look more elegant. Plus, they seemed to like to draw her as a chibi while she was heavy. So, in the sense it feels likes she's gotten taller, but based off comparisons she hasn't. She just looks it because of the art style and the new proportions they're choosing to emphasize.

And I do realise it's a shoujo and therefore will probably have a lot of things that are unrealistic(I mean the whole plot literally seems beyond reality), but the person above was saying that the extreme weight lost in just 6 months was unrealistic so I just gave an example of what seemed more unrealistic tbh. Though it seems she didn't even grow (≧∀≦)
