Unrelated to the newest chapter lol but do y’all think we’ll get a nationals arc (unless they lose smh) or do you think the author will end the series after the tournament is over? The series is pretty popular in Japan so I don’t see why the author wouldn’t make an Act III lol.
Depends i think, surely this manga centered sawamura and miyuki as their first meeting pretty much started eijun going to seido, aiming for koshien,
On one hand, i think they will get to national, are they winning it is pretty unsure... Might be, might not..
As for act III, depends on author, he was planning to stop drawing after first season, leaving all of us with furuya as ace but since this manga quite famous in japan, he keep drawing. And we got to see sawamura as ace.
But we got to see alot of foreshadowing like American baseball team, new player from other school, maybe he will go for act III?
Oh wow I’m glad they continued with act II it was a way more satisfying read haha. I guess it depends if they win or lose nationals. If they lose it can lead into Act III but if they win idk where the story would go from there. I agree that the story centers around Sawamura and his journey of improving to becoming ace and going to nationals but now that he already has that and so many characters are leaving again after this act idk what the goal for act III will be. I guess it could be to win nationals if they lost. It be nice if there was an act III but I could also see terajima writing an epilogue for all the characters at the end of this and calling it a day lmao.
imo seidou wall is forever inajitsu. miyuki vs mei. after they beat them i still think there are higher chance to continue if they lost on nationals say on finals? why did i say this? cuz they build up the first year soo much. especially okumura. just like coach said as long as miyuki exist okumura cant play as catcher. the fact that okumura x sawamura battery had a sneak peek on practice match and delivered big time, i think it will be a new selling point of the manga since we got 2 pair at seidou for the battery
From an interview TJ said he was going to stop at Act I but continued bc of sales and ofc fan opinion lmao so there’s always a possibility. But Act II is wrapping up what Act I was aiming for; beating Mei, going to nationals, Sawamura becoming ace. Now that all of these goals have been accomplished idk what Act III will mainly focus on, maybe competing at nationals with Hongou, he is a second year and the raining champion after all
Is having an affair the go to stress reliever if marriage isn’t working out lmao. Even the side characters are cheating. What happened to good old fashioned communication and couples therapy or in this case divorce
We do attempts at communication, but they're blown off until the other partner realizes what they've done could cost them their marriage. I'm not sure how couples therapy is seen in Japan, but in America it's usually unhelpful unless both sides agree there's a problem and want to change. Divorce is the hardest option. It's not just "I'm moving out now", it's the ripping off the soul, traumatic even in the best cases. I think for this couple, cheating was the way to get what they wanted without sacrificing the marriage that they still valued. It's a "win-win" so long as they ignore the moral side of things.
FL is was way to chill to forgive her husband and sister like that. None of this would've happened if the sister was just honest with her feelings and wasn't passive in the first place, but the husband should've asked for a divorce or not accept the marriage if he wasn't fully into the idea and acted the way he did. The father in the last chapter should've done more than slap his face lmao
Heard this was getting a manhwa. (๑•ㅂ•)و✧ I'm glad 2021 is the year where so many of these damn promos are finally getting seralized (as they should). I'm hoping they keep the same artist bc they've literally drawn for all the author's other work or if not hope the art is just as good
