Chapter 5's story was ridiculous. No one should ever take back a cheater. It's messed up that they would choose someone else over you and then beg for you to come back? Nope, not buying it.
Yeah they do but the only ones that don't do it again are those who properly reflect. It's hard reading stories where you can already see a happily never after...
When you really think about it, the person you're dating actually stopped loving you for who knows how long, while you were still in love with them. It's trust that's been stomped on like gum underneath a shoe. Yeah sure they could reflect and not do it again, but are you sure you can catch them next time? Promises are words. Actions you can't see doesn't mean it's not happening.
''I despise you.''
From the teacher's perspective, his student-teacher relationship with the 'Prince' seemed pretty friendly. To suddenly be despised, an explanation should be in order. The fact that the teacher submitted to both the rapist's advances, and the blatant out-of-the-blue declaration of hatred from the 'Prince' makes me dislike the teacher. He's a pushover. Surely there's more fight in him? After reading 'Itou-san', I was expecting another strong uke.
I felt that the moment when he confessed to Senoo that he liked him was very out of the blue. It was so sudden, kind of like that feeling you get when you're walking down some stairs and you forget that there's an extra stair until the end? It was surprising and everything felt forced rather than natural.
I adore this twist of the omegaverse concept. An alpha uke and an omega seme. However, when you think about it from the set ''rules'' of the omegaverse, the omega seme (unless he uses suppressants) will still fall into heat. I've only read a few of the original Japanese chapters, but what concerns me is if the seme character is supposed to fit into the mangaka's 'Screw The Rules! I'm A Top Forever! I Can Also Be An Alpha!' dynamic, does he still accept his biological heat? How will it affect him to remain as an omega but prefer to top? Omegas generate slick, so how will that affect the self-proclaimed seme?
While this story is interesting with its humour and plot twists, I feel like the mangaka left a lot of gaps empty in favour of focusing completely on the comedy, and the whole Alpha Uke and Omega Seme idea. How about the Alpha uke's rut? Biologically it doesn't make sense in an omegaverse, and there's a lot to question.
Because I feel like readers are mostly just accepting it while ignoring the flaws of the concept. The story is unique and charming, that I agree. But there's a lot more to an omegaverse than 'Alpha-Fuck-Omega-Breed-Marry-Babies'. There's biology that comes into play. If the mangaka can approach it while still sticking to the idea of the Alpha uke and Omega seme, then props to them!
