Like I'm fine with them being a couple in the future (tho tbh I would have loved for this to be a found family siblings kinda story, I think a lot of people were wishing for that too) The only reason I'd personally have a problem with him being ml is if he grew up thinking she was his blood sister, but it does look pretty likely that he knows she isn't. But since we the audience know that they aren't blood siblings and that they aren't going to see each other as adoptive siblings, then there's really nothing wrong with shipping them.
