Bum needs someone to help him with his mental and post traumatic disorders, he would probably have depression or something worst after metting Sangwoo and being a prisoner, tortured, etc... jail is better than being with Sangwoo in constant fear, being manipulated with good/bad/abusive/sweet behavior all the time.... if he confeses and colaborated during the trial it's very probable that he gets a few years in jail or goes to a mental hospital. He was not in his right mind when he killed the girl, he was used as a toy/weapon by a psychopath, so he shouldn't be punished harshly for that.

No murderers are in their right mind - no matter the situation or background they have, it can never excuse killing someone (unless it was accidental for protecting yourself).
He was abused by his uncle for years. He was never going to kill someone by himself. Sangwoo placed the knife in his hand, created the situation and it turned him into what he is now. Desperate, scared and a killer. Before meeting Sangwoo, he never showed that he was going to kill someone.
He was mean yes(when that girl didn't know how to reject someone properly), stalker, yes. But a killer? You don't know if it's BECAUSE of his capture that finally pushed him over the edge. But that's more believable than Bum always having the potential to be a killer because it was shown that he never thought of killing someone and even AFTER he had some guilt about it. So put your damn high horse somewhere else. While I want him to get help, putting him in jail where there may be OTHER MEN to abuse him further like his uncle, isn't going to help him and neither is he this ruthless killer that deserves to be raped or murdered. so shutthefuckup.
