In the manga the never specified who exactly rays dad is but he was definitely human.Similar to how moms are chosen , a few males with high scores are also saved to be used to make more children, but that is their only purpose. The difference is recessive omega cannot detect pheromones, and cannot produce pheromones, unlike the dominant omega.
