Not necessarily here but I've seen ppl online hating on literally all the characters atp. Like so many people are hating Eunhyuk for leaving for ten years and then immediately go on abt how Suae should end up with Dohwa... LIKE IM SORRY DID HE NOT DO THE SAME THING AND HE DID IT FIRST?!? I've seen ppl use the excuse that he was just distancing himself after being rejected but he full on didn't tell her anything and left immediately which made her worry even more. In no way am I saying that Eunhyuk was in the wrong; both of them were and I'm just sick of the fandom choosing sides and trashing the other. Don't even get me started on the ppl who hate on Suae... Like genuinely I don't understand why there is such a deep hatred for her with some ppl like yeah she was oblivious with some things but it was also apart of an internal struggle with confrontation. If I'm not mistaken, around chapter 100 or so (when Dohwa confessed) there was some sort of internal dialogue about how being ignorant was not a sin(I'm gonna reread and make sure I'm not totally delusional so sorry if this is wrong) . Suae very much cared and loved Dohwa as a friend and as someone who's been in a similar predicament where a close friend has feelings for you that you don't reciprocate, it's a very tough situation because you don't want to hurt them or embarrass them by bringing it up so you just try to ignore it even if it may not be the best option. All in all they've all been in the wrong in one way or another but that doesn't make them bad characters. I will agree that the plot has kinda become ass over time but otl still holds a very dear place in my heart especially season one. Ok so yeah this was just a yap sesh for me but I just love all three of them and it pains me to see some people start coming after one of them for stupid reasons. I really hope in the coming chapters Eunhyuk gets slapped or smth bc goddamn he's making me mad but I still love them and I hope they can work it out whether she ends up with either or neither of them I just want her to be happy. But fr bring back the season 1 dynamic . Also if you're still reading this rant and you have an opinion on something whether agreeing or disagreeing please reply bc I love hearing other people's pov and what they interpreted differently.
Ok I realized I said "In no way am I saying that Eunhyuk was in the wrong" but I meant to say In no way am I saying that Eunhyuk was not in the wrong anyways I reread and it was in chapter 101 following Dohwas confession where suae is having the internal monologue where she is thinking that being ignorant was not a sin which was abt dohwas feelings like i thought.
Well I can see your point abt why hate on Eunhyuk when dohwa did the same to Suae, but like for me, I find Dohwa more forgivable because he didn’t just suddenly ghost her. Like he first tried making distance between the two and I get that both of em never really communicated with Suae abt why they left/ghosted her but in my personal opinion, I’d rather them distance themselves with me and gradually leave then suddenly leaving out of a sudden with no message. Bc with Suae & Dohwa, dohwa left a hint of not wanting to be bothered by leaving some distance between the two while Eunhyuk and Suae were all nice n all together until he went poof one day without saying or leaving anything for Suae to really know what happened.
ATP I’d rather all of them find new love interest bc this is all a mess and sometimes it’s better to move on then stay stuck in the past which is what they are presumably doing rn n it makes me wanna rip out my hair
Fr I'm literally trying not to rip my hair out waiting for new chapters every week . I totally see what you mean with Dohwa too. I really hope him and Suae can rebuild their friendship and bond and since they've both matured I hope it won't turn into a romance
bc Im completely convinced soohyuk will be endgame just bc it would the most obvious ending and I just would HATE HATE HATE to see Dohwa get his heart broken again. Obviously I want them all to just rebuild their relationships but I still stand by Suae needing to slap some sense into him at least once before forgiving him Another thing that bothers me abt the way Eunhyuk left was how he was literally no contact before he went abroad and stuff like how she went by his house and saw the situation with his dad to down. And like didn't he try and call her after that? So that would mean he still had some sort of access to his phone at some point. I'm dying to know his side of the story and why he would have began to seemingly detach so suddenly even before going abroad. I was on tiktok earlier and people are now trying to say that Eunhyuk has amnesia which I find hilarious bc last year when chapter like 65(?) dropped and they were in the bus accident ppl were freaking out thinking we'd have to deal with an amnesia arc. Soohyuk pretimeskip will always have a special place in my heart but this seasons otp is everyone x happiness bc dear God they've all just become miserable. Lol some of this was kinda random sorry my ADHD got the better of me
Y'all this chapter already let me down in so many ways I guess that's what happens when we get two weeks to delude ourselves into a better outcome. But the Promise with Dohwa scares me... Like I don't want to think that it could be something that bad bc I love Dohwa as much as the next person but what if it's used as some sort of plot device to try to get closer to her again and start a possible romance between the two? Like what if he wanted her to pretend to date him as to help him with some sort of scandal? There was some mention of scandals in this chapter surrounding him so I'm kind of curious. I also was a bit confused on a few things because I first read a different translation somewhere else and this one has a big difference has a big difference in the text conversation. In this translation Dohwa said he did remember Sooae but in other translations he said he didn't and I just wanted to know if anyone knew which was correct and if he was lying for some reason that he didn't remember. I actually cannot take it with the love triangle and I just really wish that they would focus on rebuilding an actual bond as adults since they've both matured since they last saw each other. Anyways I want to reiterate the fact that a deep hyperfixation and the week hiatus drove me into delusion and I don't actually think that Dohwa would do something like that but who knows what could be coming.
