Istg, I got scammed by this manhwa. Normally, I wouldn't mind some angst. In fact, I would've eaten it up. But this... I didn't sign up for this.
Everything about it is just heartbreaking. I'M WEAK TO ANGST INVOLVING CHILDREN. There's a sob threatening come out my throat every moment/interaction they make. Especially the past life of Hades. God, something about this stort just tugs on my heartstrings. It's probably just my daddy and mommy issues acting up LMAO.
This is one of the few stories that I can't bring myself to fully hate the supposed to be antagonists. With the exception of the Count and Countess, of course. I would also add the "Father" there but there must be more to his story. So, I'm giving him the benefit of a doubt. I'm also not sure about the new character, the Minister of something, Ms. Pamela.. I forgot her name but by the looks of it, she's up to no good haha.
But seriously though, almost everyone here is just morally gray. The Holy Priest, Roxa, and the others.. I can't fully blame them. Yes, I still haven't forgotten what Roxa did to Azar's brother. Specifically, his lack of action. Well, if you didn't involve money. But, his thought and facial expression when he remembered that leads me to believe that there is more to his story. (It was when Aisha gave him the payment for the healing elixirs.)
So, yeah! I'm really excited for the story to unfold completely. At this point, the characters are just here to test my mortality haha. I hope that this ends on a happy note. Hopefully, the novel is already finished. No doubt that I'm gonna binge it once I have free time.
