I wanted to understand tbh ... but one thing I couldn't understand was the fact that were they in a relationship? ... or they were just inter dependent .... ?
I also didn't really like the fact that it wasn't ever addressed that the blonde basically wasn't even faithful if they were dating...
These two need therapy.... alot of things just weren't addressed and we were left wondering about them ....

Their relationship at first definitely interdependent. But as time goes by, Souji cant see the lines where it separates between love and having someone to relieve his loneliness. I think they started being dependent to each other to ease the loneliness and to fill the gaping hole. I also think Souji is fine with Mika’s attitude because at the end, Mika will come back to him. That’s the confidence only Souji have.
As time goes by, those feeling of dependence turned into something more like love although both our MC is slow ro realize. Its like having your favourite pillow to hug when you asleep. It feels weird without. That’s how Mika and Souji relationship looks like to me.
