That is a great question that flew over my head a concerning amount of times.

What parents? Yeah by now the story focused of student’s(gangster) life in furin becuz furin is that school. Other students parent’s knew that esp the town what kind of student so maybe they accept that.. idk what im saying i just wanna reply and maybe after this fight there’ll be a chap for what you’re asking

and police, teachers, law enforcers and many more :)

Some of them, I guess doesn't even have a parent present. Orphans (like ume) or living apart from parents (parents is in another town like sakura), for example. Some have (I guess like Nirei or suo(maybe?) for example) , but since the town people where Furin located in already know that Furin students are good boys that protects them, they pay no mind. And some parents, maybe don't care what their kid do, after all they all looks like a delinquent, which usually isn't supported by japanese parents (like sakura's parent).

For police, iirc, it was mentioned in the early chapters that police didn't dare/want to roam around that town because of the number of delinquent, so Furin patrolled and acted as the police instead.

Teachers... I agree... did they even study....

For real, teachers I don't know, I'm pretty sure they enrolled to Furin(?) and it was a school, will they graduate though? They have uniforms...

No like did they just take over the whole school? Is the school not government owned?? I’m assuming it’s a public school cause like hello, but at the same time do the teachers just…decide not to show up or did someone one day just decide to turn an abandoned building into a school

I think this manga is just pure slice of life with 90% violence

I guess this will be another story where the author doesn’t explain why there’s no adults present

If I may, if you noticed in ch 13, JJ was willing to listen. Even before that, at the club, he was somewhat willing to talk. But the conversation cannot be him feeding Leo information again. Not Leo realizing what is wrong because he was told it was wrong but rather realize that his behavior was wrong by genuinely recognizing they were. Otherwise, it would feel superficial, just to get by and be able to get back to how they were. Leo's approaches on both occasions felt that way. He wasn't seeing JJ as a partner but an assistant or lucky charm he lost and wants to get back. I think JJ is feeling that so he's reacts as if he touched a hot surface whenever Leo talks to him.

Even at the hotel. Leo is not facing the reality that they've broken up. He again fronts the 'me' statement, "why did you not tell me?" sounding like the world revolves around him, rather JJ's world revolves around him.

A third person has to step up and tell Leo what is happening because his perspective seems like it's in a bubble. Leo can always ask someone else to help him analyze but he's not doing that.
