Very good. I think he makes normal decisions. It feels like he makes his decisions and not the author makes his decisions. He comes off as someone completely normal and not someone who flexes that he is big brain but actually isn't. Has action, gore, and a little bit of star crossed lovers in it. But they learn to grow and care for each other while they are thrust into a world of violence and pain. As well as their friends. There isn't any "power of friendship", more like you hurt my friend, I'll kill you and proudly go to hell for it. There is beauty in this story and you shouldn't miss out on it. Beauty in the fact they these people are normal and are just trying to survive and protect the ones they care for but sometimes can't. Both life and death is beautiful and this story depicts that in many ways.

So, he never took a break since he revived, never took a breath to talk to someone he could confine into, and he knows he could die the day after, but he still can't choose to be with the woman he may have a thing for, or to go do ONE thing he never did -like living a NORMAL day for once, and not worrying about protecting someone, or be ware of what he talks with them etc-. Talk with someone who truly wants to listen to him even when he didn't respond to her, and is NOT his family as he already talked a took time for them, and about things and with a liberty he couldn't have with his family once again, because he wants to keep them away from his worries and dangerousness.
As for leaving the city undefended, who would've thought he wouldn't be able to use his shadows to INSTANTLY go back there if needed, as usual ? No one.
Yes, it's surprising that he picked that time to do it, but when humans are confronted at possible death, and above all when he's him, who survived a way we could never understand, they do things differently. And need different things. He already gave his life to his family, to his mother, whom he died for to pay the expenses, and you don't know how much time "offscreen" he took with her to talk. What if that breather without anyone other that a simple girl who understands him at least, could help them all because he would feel stronger and refreshed ?
And at least, don't forget that there is a novel, that i haven't red yet, and that i think things are going slower and are more detailed in it.

So, sorry to disagree, but you were strongly desapproving something that is not so irresponsable or so inhuman. (And at least, we can see that he still have emotions and he's still craving for things. That's a good thing)

Jinwoo is still and will always be human who needs interaction BESIDES his family, he has already cleared things up in the novel that he only sees the girl as a FRIEND he has never shown any interest in DATING anyone, jinwoo needed someone to talk to aside from his family, a friend who he can confide with- this hangout was the most human jinwoo has ever been after getting killed and resurrected, don't take away the only few things that's keeping him human

you can't expect him to be there whenever shit goes down, just like what happens after this arc.

I guess people don't want to see the humanity in heroes. Only selflessness...let me remind you. He owes no one. Absolutely no one. He was ridiculed and then left to die. He can spend a few hours reminiscing the past and be human before shit goes down.

Yes I read that.. I just do not get why you linked our discussion there with this thread here...People have been saying the exact same thing there.

I just voiced my frustration more because people were trying to blame his date and his emotion since they literally just do not want romance in action manhwa. Which baffles me because those versions of OP MC are so overused and unrealistic(in terms of human emotions).

Chill. When someone's evolving and admitting something new that from their point of view it's worth celebrating, not shutting it down like that even if they were mistakes or disagreement before. That is a rare thing and it's worth longs exchanges and mindset sharing, I think personnaly. :) (Otherwise I wouldn't bother trying to write comments down here while English isn't my main language at all :) )

me too, i know that she liked him for quite a bit, but the moment's just too forced just 2 chapters ago the old gramps died and he has family to protect at this crucial moment yet he decided to date.. it was kinda forced and idk but i hate the mc's decision like, go date but now isnt the appropriate time ig..
