The seme and uke are pretty dumb that its entertaining. But it got boring real quick and I found myself skimming through the last few chapters. The only character I was interested in is animal man... I wish he got his own story. Anyway its okay I guess, but don't expect a story that has a good plot. Most manga from renta is just for smut after all.
I wasn't satisfied with the ending at all. I just wish the seme would.. "suffer" a little bit LOL. I know he's got it tough too by loving his brother but he used Itsuki!! And Itsuki gave in too quickly! If I was the Uke id have some serious trust issues. But I love the art style and everything, but the ending was a bit rushed. It just needed one more chapter, imo.
eh, i dont think he used him in that sense. he saw potential in that relationship and did have feelings for him before asking him out. sure he wasn’t completely over his brother but i think that was mainly bc he never got any closure from it ? like he can’t just go up to his brother and tell him what he felt, and i think he stopped loving him long before he realized it, but it’ll hurt a bit seeing your first love happy without you
Ngl, I put this manga off for a while now because I hate stories that revolve around love triangles because it stresses me out ESPECIALLY when the two leads are pretty likeable. But this one was really good and readable for me! Harubi is too precious for that world and Renji is 10/10. I love me some posessive seme lol.
Super fluffy and makes my heart feel warm. The uke is so adorable and hot at the same time like a gentle bear. Actually the seme and uke are both super hot and manly so thats a big plus. The only flaw is that its a one shot! But even though its a one shot the story flowed perfectly and I was satisfied. Recommend!
I thought that the story was solid, I mean it has been done before. But there was no character development or back story for the seme so it was pretty funny to me when he suddenly said he loved the uke lol. Also, I get Masaki is hot but he didn't really... do much for the uke either. I guess the characters in this manga just didn't have any development and felt superficial af. But it is a good read for something to pass the time!
Backstory for the seme? Wasnt it explained already? He liked uke since he was kid, tried being the best "older brother" for uke, thought it wrong to have feelings like that for a kid who treats him as an older brother(as any decent person should) so he tried to suppress his feelings by going out with the girl. Uhm isnt that enough? And isnt being honest and trying to be a better person for the other, character development? Uke stopped sleeping with random guys then seme decided to be honest with himself and told uke how he feels. I do agree on your thoughts about masaki tho hes kinda meh. Also what he did was soo out of character it was unsatisfying.
Honestly I was a little bit disappointed with the story just because I was expecting more due to the high rating. Although I loved each of the characters personality (especially the adorable seme) I felt that their development was really lacking. The whole plot felt so incomplete and rushed that I felt pretty much nothing from the beginning to end lol. Its like reading a plot outline with fancy drawing, tbh.
I'm telling you this seme is 10/10 his personality is basically like Gon from HxH but more grown up and I love it. The seme actually tries to understand and love the character and doesn't let misunderstandings get in the way! The uke is soo beautiful and deserves all of the happiness I'm so glad the found each other. I did wish there was a spicy scene as an extra chapter when their relationship is more established during college or whatever, but this ending is just as wholesome. Would recommend and reread!
