I loved the novel and the manhwa adaptation is really good. The FL is so graceful but still has her moments of mental breakdowns and stubbornness like any other person. I also love how they talk about "womanhood" during their time period. And oh boy does Lucia have Hugo wrapped around her finger hahaha
I think the reason why the whole "strong female lead" trend that has been so popular these few years is due to the fact that female leads in romance stories are just so unbelievably superficial, bland, and annoying. But most of these strong female lead types just get predictable and boring. The FL here, Maxi, is just so raw and more realistic than ever. She doesn't get past her trauma in a single day or magically turns into a badass. She has actual mistakes but it just makes her tiny baby steps of character development just that much more endearing and REWARDING. I think that's why I love this story and Lucia the most for romance focused stories (plus they both have some sexy scenes heh).

I'm not really sure why the rating is so low. Maybe its the art? I actually really loved the art from the beginning because it was so different and unique from any other manga. The uke is just absolutely adorable as well as the seme. If say give it a try and don't judge it just because it is a bit low!
The art is 10/10...I mean.. look at the ukes butt! I did feel that their relationship was way more on lust than love (well its all smut) but its still worth the read just for the laughs and smut. I was looking for a posessive seme and if you are too then you should give this a read.
I loved this story way more than I thought I would. It was very smutty but the story was really good as well which is such a bonus. I wasn't expecting a little angst! I loved the uke and seme, but if you are someone who does not enjoy explicit beast smut then I would steer clear. But if you do, highly recommend. Totally rereadable after a few weeks as well!
I felt like this manga tricked me lmao. I really enjoyed it, especially the first couple. The smut and art was really nice ( uncensored heh ). But once I finished I just realized there was straight up incest LMAO. I was a little disturbed but it actually wasn't as bad as it is because the whole vibe of this manga is just super carefree and drama free. Its just fluff and smut and if youre in the mood for that, give it a read!
The problem with the first story is that they just were way too stubborn with each other and did not communicate at all. The uke treated the seme very poorly and so the seme decided to get back. But it was satisfying when the seme got mad and beat up that trash ex. Overall, I'm glad they were finally happy together. The second story was much better than the first, the couple was just too cute and had a better dynamic in general. Overall, it is still, personally, readable. But there is rape in the first story!!
I hated the seme for being an asshole and not even apologizing once for doing THAT. The uke just let it happen too and acted like everything was normal. I could tell the ending was super rushed and abrupt when I wanted to see their relationship actually develop lol.
