Yep! I ended up re-reading the earlier chapters and stopping when Hwa grew up. I just prefer Lee Bin and Hwagok’s pairing for some reason
for me it's because they're bond is more tragically romantic and beautiful,
yibin is a vampire with a horribly tragic past and debilitatingly deep sense of loneliness who has lasted for hundreds of years until he met met hwa gok, he found himself loving someone else again enough to even willingly put himself through the pain of that person inevitable aging and dying in front of him even going as far as planing to guard his grave after death.
with hwa gok, he loved yibin deeply enough to not only pretty much give away his mortality but also outliving all of his loved ones and spending eternity with him. He loves yibin enough to give him a son, almost dying in the process and pretty much make an almost emotinally numb and detached vampire into a absolutely loving husband and father who went as far as too move abroad just for their happiness.
they're bond is so much more intense to me
