I see what the author did there.. She's tricking us. Our opinions aren't actually ours.. We've been manipulated. This is what has been going on: She desensitized us early on, making sure that the recollection of his father's abuse came up very abruptly in the story. That's when she snagged us on the hook. From that point on, we were secretly fed a certain narrative. She told our brains what to believe even before our bodies had the chance to properly process the information given. The real culprit is the mom, I'm calling it out now. The truth is always right infront of us, though we often pass it a blind eye. Just think about it, his mother has been grooming him ever since he was young. Who knows exactly how abusive his father was? Maybe it wasn't nearly as bad as we think, perhaps he was brainwashed.. It could explain why he's still unable to see his father's face. The odd sexual tension between Sangwoo and his mother is intensifying with each chaptor. She's like a wolf in sheeps clothing..
Remember that these are just thoughts I have, It could very well be incorrect. To each our own. I have so many ideas running through my head.. you'll see more of me.
I’m really disgusted the sexual attraction between sangwoo and his mother even exists but I know what you mean when you say it’s intensifying (and their personalities are slowly being watered down). I too also believe we are being fed a skewed narrative ever since the pair were accosted by the police, or even earlier for that matter. But being on my guard won’t help as the author has a precise skill of misleading us with our judge mental eyes. I honestly almost can’t make a coherent opinion for myself anymore because I’m so broken in half with my logical thoughts and opinions.
Im kinda done being mind fucked—but at the same time kinda like the deciet
Hmm.. Mari doesn't really have a place in this situation anymore. Technically, she started the whole thing when she involved herself with a married man. Things sort of took off from there, being around Mari forced Yoo to get involved, whether he actually wanted to or not.
The betrayal from a best friend is rough, no doubt.. Although, I believe Yoo has already paid for his wrong doings. Mari has been a real piece of work, always pushing the boundaries between right and wrong. What Yoo has done to her, she has done to someone else. I don't think she's a bad person, just an idiot. You can't blame others for your bad choices, she'll eventually need to smarten up and take responsibility. Yoo isn't much brighter than she is, but at least he's taken his part of the burden without complaints.
Damn, if someone left me for 5 years without a single word or reason I would not let them fuck me on the living room sofa, in the house I shared with my dead wife, across from the room where my three year old son is sleeping... But
