Yes, that’s my point. He never mentioned his cat so the story wasn’t really a sob story :0 however after reading the comments people are acting like he did use the sob story which confuses me.
He said he didn’t want to bring up his cat because he would feel guilty for using his cats sickness for the win so the “sob story” was basically like the example of him NOT using his cat. That’s why it sounded more shallow than what it was supposed to be and why the producer was disappointed
