Is it this one? It sounds incredibly similar to what you've said.
I don't remember the title but it seem like I could give you another hint if we think the same.
They are most like a childhood friends. It is the seme who introduce the uke to his father with the POV " I have a two sons now. I guess I can't see my my grandaughter or grandson in the future. But as long as both of you are happy I'm fine with it."

Sorry it's rather this one
help me remember the title please!
I remember thr story goes like this... So the uke reencounter a guy from high school. They met at the izakaya where the uke works. (not quite sure if I'm mixing this with other story)
So the uke was currently in relationship with this another guy who always hit him because of his stress from work. At first they were really in love but he started hitting the uke.
The uke and the guy from high school ended up together in the end
I also remember that shtty boyfriend also had a chance to have find his own love life.
That one is the story of Yumi and Mayama that you mentioned but if you're interested you can check the other volumes of the series that follow the abusive bf's own story
here are the links
https://www.mangago.zone/read-manga/azami/ this is the prequel with Yumi and Kan's past
https://www.mangago.zone/read-manga/renai_rubi_no_tadashii_furikata/ Kan meets Shuuna
https://www.mangago.zone/read-manga/hadakeru_kaibutsu/ Kan and Shuuna's continuation
so the uke was a very shy person but he gets along with dogs. The seme was afraid of dogs but her sister ordered her to bring her dog to something like a training center for dogs (where the uke works). The uke have a long hair and the seme was very handsome.
I think I forgot to list the title of this one, I can't seem to find it on my lists :<
I'm looking for DILF seme types from manga only. Most of the daddies I usually found are from manhwa like On or Off, Walk on Water, Dangerous convenience store, legs which cannot walk, etc.
I want to find some on manga type as well (just like asami from Finder series and that one seme from Bi no kyoujin series)
Saki imo classifies as one https://www.mangago.zone/read-manga/kokoro_kanda_neko/
Maybe this will have one you haven’t read yet: https://www.mangago.zone/home/mangalist/989417/
There’s some webtoons mixed in but they’re mostly mangas iirc
This might be too broad but there's also a daddy seme that you might want to browse through! https://www.mangago.zone/tag/daddy%20seme/
(so we could avoid misunderstandings) ٩(๑~▽~๑)۶
BL- a general term which directly means 'boys love' any story that involves boy x boy, it doesn't necessarily have to be sexual
yaoi- relationship between guys that involve sexual acts or the sexual acts are visible in the chapters
shounen ai- romantic relationship between guys but it doesn't focuses on sexual acts or usually doesn't involve visible intercourse in the chapters.
now let's distinguish manga, manhwa, and manhua
manga- japanese comics which are usually black and white but there are cases where they offer colored pages(not fully). we read it from right to left
manhwa- korean web comics which are known to have full colored pages but there are also times where they offer black and white ones. read it from left to right.
manhua- chinese comics and doesn't usually involve any sexual act in chapters because its against the law. also read this one from left to right.
hope it helps somehow? (⌒o⌒)
coz I also encounter misunderstandings when they literally type "manga" but they were actually looking for "manhwa"
Thanks (づ ̄ ³ ̄)づ
Bl and yaoi are the same thing. In Japan the term "yaoi" is just really outdated and according to the guy I was talking to it about makes him cringe when foreigners use it.
oh I see that's another info added thank u (*'▽'*)♪
Just to clear things up. Bl can be "yaoi" or "shounen ai" so I guess you could still use those terms if you want to specify but most people just don't use it anymore in Japan apparently. It's why Bl that is labelled "yaoi" or "shounen ai" tends to be in the older style if you understand what I mean.
you're welcome ^o^
yep thats why I defined it as a 'general term' because there are other fans from *i wont mention them* who got confused and claimed the word BL as theirs when its actually a general term for story between guys
To add, manhwa usually means that it’s been published into a graphic novel. Webtoons are the Korean works that we read online, because the majority of which is online only. Though you can use both terms, because both are related to Korean works.
Manga is usually more strictly Japanese works because of the Japanese publishing system. Unless you get works from like Renta, who are more webcomic format. But those are still called manga because of the Japanese style.
Thank you for making this post!
thanks for the additional info ≡^ˇ^≡
Ah, people also bringing up the Yaoi term. It’s still used in the west and being a person from the west, I’m okay using it. Though I tend to use more BL now, I still say Yaoi when talking about smuttier works because the term Yaoi means “porn with out plot”. I just wouldn’t use it when in Asia or searching for merch or something similar. The one that I have problems with is that pedophiles used Shounen Ai to do a young man prostitution ring in Japan. Because “Shounen” means “minors”. So I actually don’t like using that term at all and I think instead of fighting over the use of Yaoi, I think we should stop using Shounen Ai.
Yeah. It's like the word "Baka" i think more people use it in the west than in Japan anymore ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
It could also just be used in anime and other entertainment.
