if you haven’t read the latest chapter, don’t read this lol. (ch, 54)

i started watching the anime but only 6 episodes are out atm and i just cant waittttt but i always knew since the beginning that nanao had abigail role in the story. i mean, where did his body go right? well anyways we find out that he was alive and was floating down a river right. and then his father comes in and fking abuses him? and then nanao got angry like any other person would and then accidentally killed him. ACCIDENTALLY. he still loved his father even if he abused him mentally and physically. but then that guy or whatever that was working with nana had the audacity to say that nanao killed someone innocent and shit like that?? FIRST OF ALL, DID HE NOT SEE HOW HIS FATHER TREATED HIM? he has been dealing with this shit since he was born. he was so happy when he received the watch and was so sad when he lost it. and then his father didn’t care about his watch and essentially called him a disappointment. like bro. nanao is a child. i don’t know how old he is but i think he’s either 9th or 10th grade. he has feelings. he doesn’t know what’s wrong and what’s right. yes, he did kill his father but it was by accident. he could’ve learned from this happening and wouldn’t have done it in the future. but this guy was like saying shit like all talented people are bad. like what the actual FUCK.
okay thanks for listening to my rant. i believe nanao is innocent and should not be blamed. i find it honestly reasonable for him to kill his father - even if it was by accident(╯°Д °)╯╧╧

Keep in mind that the guy in the military suit is evil and a professional manipulator (He was dedicated to manipulating Nana throughout the plot), and what is the best way to manipulate teenagers (And most people)?
    Love, hate, guilt, and revenge.
From the beginning the only reason why he left the boy to live is to use him, and the reason he allowed the father to meet his son again is to create a traumatic scene where he could put the boy in an emotionally vulnerable position and be able to better manipulate, train him , and turned into something like Nana at the beginning of the manga where she killed without questioning his orders.
And something screwed up about abusive relationships (be they romantic or family) is that they have stages, there is a stage of guilt and punishment (where the abuser punishes the victim for something "bad" that the victim has supposedly done, and the abuser does the victim feel guilty for not meeting their expectations or making them behave that way, making the victim feel guilty) but there is also a sweet and forgiving stage (Where the abuser "forgives" the victim, and makes them feel that only the abuser is able to forgive and love the victim despite how "horrible" the victim is, and treat the victim well, give them gifts, pampering them, and apologize for having been so hard on the victim, but that the abuser hurt more than the victim to do that, and it was for the good of the victim in the long run... ect.).
It is a pattern in abusive relationships, which is why it is so difficult for victims to admit the abuse.
