I'm getting the same vibes that I got when I first read Bram Stoker's Dracula.
but was it good? like is the story ended sweet or was it twisted like dark haven with a lot of drama and hart aches?
I'm assuming that your questions are about the book as the webtoon has just begun.
Spoiler warning for the book Dracula by Bram Stoker (not sure if I need the warning as the original book was published around the 1880s or 1890s if I remember correctly and there are loads of movies based on it)
Dracula is one of my favourite pieces of literature. I found it was very good and loved the way it was written using letters, journal entries, newspaper articles, etc to tell the story.
( The way this webtoon has presented its opening reminded me of how the book presented its opening, I can also see parallels between the two sets of characters.)
I have only read a few chapters of Dark Haven ( I only remember that it was about a music performer addicted to drugs and sex) as I have not read it all I can't compare the endings.
Not sure if you can call the ending of Dracula sweet or twisted, more like the story has a conclusion. (Was not sure what you were asking in the 2nd question in that regard)
Dracula ended with Dr. Van Helsing eventually out witting him, there is a lot of twists in the story.
It's one of my recommended reads.
I am such an idiot. i tohout you were referring to a yaoi manga or manwwah that was called Bram Stoker's Dracula that had started the same way. i didn't read the name properly and didn't realized you talked on the original story.
my second question referred to the way the story ended. i asked if the "mannwhamanga" you have read ended with a sweet ending or it ended like dark heaven with a good happy ending but with a lot of psychological and dramatic events that causes the reader experience hart aces as the story progress, like in dark heaven.
(i love dark heaven but i cant bring myself to read it again cuz its hard on me. I'm the type of person that loves sweet romantic stories without too much drama)
i hope i cleared the misunderstanding
