You need to read the story again and more carefully.
Dan is suffocating with the gifts and doesn’t like Heesung. When he is with Heesung he is thinking about Jaekyung. Dan has fought against his boss and loan sharks trying to rape.
I am scared of what will happened at Heesung’s place but it is not because Dan feeling obligated. It would because he says no and Heesung continues to get at Jaekyung. Dan always found Jaekyung attractive and he is starting to fall in love. Heesung may get him to understand his feelings or accept them.
I can see your interpretation but please look back at the story. If he does accept out of being obligated that does go against what she has set up already.
I know what you mean about Dan's feeling towards Jaek but I don't know how big of a role they play in this scenario (though I love your idea of Heesung making Dan realise he has feelings for Jaek )
The loan shark thing is diferent imo. That was pure violence and aggression but with Heesung it's diferent because he is Nice to Dan which makes Dan feel indebted to home. Sorta like he felt indebted to Jaek after he saved him from the loan sharks and gave him a place to stay, he felt like he had to do a better job because of how much Jaek done for him.
Though now that I think back to the very begining, when Jaek first called Dan to his apartment and proposed to have sex, he refused at first. So maybe there is hope

We all know the artist so we know how f**ked up are his seme, but Jaekyung is SLOWLY changing for Dan. He's still a bastard at the end of the day, but Mingyua is showing us how little by little Jaekyung shows affection towards Dan by helping him and listening to him. Obviously, those are SO SMALL compared to the other things but I think those will be like a knowing factor once Jaekyung understands that he wants more from Dan than just sex.
Also, I can't wait for the part where Dan seeks being healthy and separates himself from Jaekyung and he's desperate cause he's in love with Dan...I hope the artist uses the same trope they used in BJ Alex
