Shounen ai and yaoi basically the same the western community mistaken it as 2 different thing, the real genre called BL (boys love), shounen ai focusing on younger relationship basically teens like high schoolers (shounen = young people), and yaoi focusing more adult relationship, it doesnt matter if both have sex scene or not, my japanese fujo friend told me about it, she basically laughing at me when i tell her about this thing, and she said its better to call the genre BL in general.

Not really, shounen ai is non explicit, yaoi is explicit. China doesnt produce yaoi manhuas nor dramas because its illegal to make profit off of porn, pornohraphy is also illegal in china so yeah.
While BL does referr to both shounen ai and yaoi, you wont know if the story youre reading is gonna be explicit or non explicit so splitting BL into shounen ai and yaoi was meant to make it easier.
Ah so you still think it this way, in the past the genre was called BL, and when an author make a story about high school loves they called it shounen ai, and no, its not illegal make a doujin or story with porn in it in japan, since theres an age restrictions for the genre, and usually to know there will be explicit content in the story, its simply they will put an 18yo sign on the cover, that why i said the split between shounen ai and yaoi only happen in the west, when in japan both BL can be called shounen ai or yaoi regardless if its contains explicit content or not, because its actually for the age of the characters.

I read it properly, and thats why i reply it that way, shounen ai and yaoi are from japan, and i talked about manga not manhwa or manhua, and its only in the west people think shounen ai and yaoi are different things, when its not, and its the same for china and korea, i just want to make it straight that shounen ai and yaoi is the same genre regardless if its cointain sex or not, kinda wish we can make the genre called BL instead and if its contain sex theres a smut tagged with it, and if its not it will be called only BL, since in japan theres no different between shounen ai or yaoi.
