Reminds me of the story of a Chinese Emperor and his male General lover who was legendary level pretty. He promised him to make him empress but they weren’t successful I think. But there were rumors they were buried side by side. Who knows maybe this is inspired by that.

I really really like how the author approached this: how the abuse was never justified and how the process of moving forward from, while not downplaying, something sh*tty was explored by all characters.

I'm glad to see Kan finally allow himself to turn over a new leaf on life (especially as it's a new year), and that he did so by accepting all sides of himself, including not pushing away the bad parts of himself and also finally learning to not let those bad parts make him neglect/throw away the good parts of himself either. And I'm glad to see that both Yumi and Kan got their chance to settle some of their lingering feelings towards each other through Shuuna.

For me, the way sensei handles this encourages a lot of feelings of hope even in spaces you'd normally expect there to be none and that's a powerful message.

This is going to be echoing a lot of points that people have made, but whatever. I agree when people say a lot of things were unnecessary. Rei and the incest were totally not needed (and was disturbing). And the rape. There were multiple rape scenes. Honestly, the whole concept kinda reminded me of rape. The mage spreads pheromones that make other men touch them, sometimes without any consent. And I agree with a lot of people that Rei did get off too easy. He should be actually punished. I also wish the world was built a little more. The place where the cat and the hamster come from looks INCREDIBLE and I wish we could've seen that world a little more. Overall, I think the concept is interesting and the art is pretty cute, but if it just didn't have any rape and incest and was built a little more professionally, I actually think it would be a good manga.

I feel like y'all really dont understand the emotional side of this story. Like everyone is having on the fact that the brothers made up so quick when in fact it was like that for a reason. Like it was legit said in it it too. Like keichi and Jun had sex and in a way it was rape but just as Jun said, he wanted it and liked it because he wanted to have some sort of relationship with his brother. And his brother was so jealous of Jun because his parents practically favored jusln he wanted to punish or control Jun. And I'm not saying the northern was in the right what I'm saying is that there was a reason. And the reason they removed things so fast was because Jun finally said exactly how he felt about his brother to him which then made keichi want to open up as well. They both wanted to be good brothers and have a good relationship but neither knew how to do it. Also the same wasn't playing God. He was trying to resolve the issue because he understood the situation. That's why he gave Jun the option to do whatever he wanted with/to his brother. Also Jun wasn't traumatised from the sex/rape. He was traumatised by the submissiveness. That's why when dominating he doesn't think of his brother. I rest my case.
