A lot of people reading this lack empathy and it shows. The author made this story NOT to justify abuse but to show that no matter how much of a trash someone is, it is never too late for anyone to still find themselves and change for the better. Not once was abused justified in this story, if anything it was acknowledged even by Kan chan himself. The author simply showed how circumstances can change someone even though they used to be brightest person, and some damages just can’t be fixed so the best solution is to get a new one.
That’s why kan chan is no longer the old kan chan from high school nor the abusive lover. He didn’t try to “fix” what was broken because he knew it couldn’t be fixed. He didn’t apologize to Yumi because he knew Yumi would forgive him and what he did was unforgivable. Instead he kept that “broken” part of himself as a reminder to become better, to seek a new self.
Everyone deserves a second chance. I’ve seen so many documentaries of ex convicts who still can’t forgive themselves for the crimes they did but they’re trying their best to live a new life as a better person. And honestly who are we to crucify Kan-chan? He doesn’t even forgive himself and is punishing himself for the rest of his life for it, what more do you want? Does his past reduce him to less than a human being that deserves happiness? Life is Yin and Yang, you can sympathize with Yumi as a victim but why do people turn a blind eye that Kan chan is also sexually and physically abused for at least 5 years at his old company?
He thought he doesn’t deserve love after he broke up with Yumi, he punished himself and shunned everyone out (that’s why everyone finds him unfriendly and intimidating). but with Shuuna he is able to feel like a human again. He’s trying his best to pick himself back up but why are people still putting him down?

This is what I mean by that phrase in the main story where Yumi and Kan broke up. Yumi had physical scars but every scar was a memory that Kan would never allow himself to forget.
The longer Yumi waited it out, the worse Kan was losing himself. There were no smiles nor laughter, not even love. And how could Yumi remain a victim if he himself clung unto Kan's sorry state while admitting he doesn't love him like he used to... He just felt responsible because Kan wasn't the Kan Yumi chose.
That's why I will keep defending Kan for having found love in Shuuna and for being given a second chance. He DESERVES that chance. Because in this case, Kan did serve his sentence in his own prison—more than those who were confined in physical bars, Kan suffered for what he physically did and even more than that. To me, that is justice served—more than legalities, Kan served his sentence and Shuuna is his parole.

Here we go again, with unrealistic expectations. I understand how some people find blood in anal a turnoff or a no no, but we have to look at it realistically in a way. Have you seen the schlong on Sam, that shit is monster big and he’s unable to wrap it around his hand leaving a gap, I know you seen that panel where he was about to enter Noah, it’s bigggg. And plus, Noah doesn’t expect and is in fact embarrassed at the concept of being on the receiving end of foreplay, how is he comfortable to hop on Sams dick that time in the car without hesitation, but when it comes to receiving fellatio, it’s too much? He’s been treated rough, I know. Sam should’ve prepared him properly, but I guess sometimes the seme can be a little rash, I mean the person he virtually fell for, told him just put it in, with an ahegao face, and even he admitted that he went overboard.
We need to normalise blood even tho it can get ugly and is usually associated with non consensual sex. Remember the anal isn’t necessarily self lubricating like the vagina, you gotta finger, slowly increase the amount of fingers, lube, and some use novice dildos for beginners, and that’s canon!

Don’t think that was a blush from Mo, the lines expressed dread rather than shyness/excitement. Mo is a slow starter with a lot of chips on his shoulders: dad in jail, not comfortable financially, bullied by She Li, harassed by He Tian. He may even think He Tian is just messing with him (which he’s been doing since they met!)
Mo will get there but it will take time...
