I read the new chapters for season 2 and I can’t wait for it to be translated. This story is SO GOOD!!!

There's only 10 chaps on the raws so I'm guessing it's just a short story (last chapter has the "thank you for reading Bloody Hell" words at the end). Don't know how to read korean, just looked at the art and all I can say is that it has a lot of potential with how the plot was formed (gangster and supernatural, buff bottom *yum*). I wanted to see more romance but it was cut short so I'm sad :(

Ugh, there are so many interesting details that the author shared in the review of season 1. Why does the TW version have this content translated, but the English version doesn’t? Anyway, I used a machine to translate some of the information.

According to the author, the story is built around the contrasting relationship between Hayden and Brett. Is it Hayden that is mumbling about a timer as he walks away or is it Brett mumbling while looking at Hayden? The bubbles have no arrows and it changes interpretation quite a bit.

If it was Brett doing the mumbling it implies that Brett was thinking of his arrangement with Hayden as a temporary thing all along. Like with football he was indulging himself with his desires before settling down and doing what his family expects of him. He could view his relationship with Hayden the same way. I think that fits the pause when Hayden offers to drag him to the gym and how much he laughed at using the safe word "honey". It would set the two up for more debate about the nature and value of relationships going forward.

But no one else seemed to interpret it that way. If Hayden was the one mumbling that leaves other possibilities. It's tempting to think that Brett has deeper feelings for Hayden than he's shown - because he pursued Hayden and because he was open to a real date. Also because he looks happy when Hayden gets closer to him. And because it would be awesome. But that's far from proven in the story so far, I think.

This manhwa has the most fan speculation about the characters and it's very interesting to read all of that lol cuz both of the characters are that much complicated and sooo good...best Alpha X Alpha manhwa I've ever read...

such an excellent chapter. Brett revealing his hand to Hayden in many ways and how strategic and calculating he is (love a smart pretty boy); people are quick to say that Brett is manipulative = bad. But I think that's a disservice to the story (which isn't about one character being "bad" one character being "good"). Brett has goals, he sets out to accomplish them. He's open about enjoying Hayden's company and wanting to be close to him, and HONEST to Hayden about how he goes out of his way to "earn" Hayden's company and to make HIMSELF seem desirable to Hayden. Brett wants to be "fair" and to provide value to Hayden in exchange. Yes, things are transactional to Brett, but it's also bc Brett can't conceive of being UNCONDITIONALLY desirable to Hayden (like he needs to give reasons to Hayden to want to spend time with him)

But instead of seeing Brett's efforts to spend time with him, Hayden feels manipulated and tries to establish his agency and control (ie. I CHOSE to be here, it wasn't just you; Brett: ??? ok???). It's because Hayden views "sincerity" and "feelings" as something that is uncontrolled and not strategic - like for him, you don't plan these things out; things happen spontaneously and impulsively. This is all tied again to how Hayden feels especially out of control over his sexuality whereas Brett seems to handle his own - and that of others - with ease. It definitely doesn't help that Hayden still ended up hiccuping (ie. his instincts are still out of his control, and within Brett's predictions/control).

I think both perspectives make sense! They're both such different ppl who are miscommunicating and missing each other's cues. Brett continues to feel like things fall predictably within his control; and Hayden feels entirely out of control at all times. Just great character writing I seriously adore this so much.

People are complaining about the story but how about just not reading them?? It’s clearly a psychological story, someone could be releasing trauma, raising awareness, or hell even if there isn’t some deeper reason, it’s just a story. Just like any other horror, it’s going to have things you may not like to see. The person who wrote Saw (literal torture scenes for 666 minutes) isn’t a murderer so why would this creator be any more messed up? If you want fluff read fluff. Simple as that.
