I loved reading this, but was also disappointed. I like the 2nd part better because Akashi's storyline was good and had purpose. I was disappointed Shun's storyline. After how they just decided to halt his character development and discard him at the end makes me upset that they even portrayed him to be a mc in the beginning. After how long Shun survived the game, I just can't believe that his development would make such a turn for the worse, and it wasn't even because of a traumatic event or something significant. It definitely feels like Shun was set to be the mc to the end as he originally had a lot of the same goals as Akashi, but somewhere along the way, the authors decided to turn him crazy just so that Akashi would be the ultimate mc for no reason. It's a damn shame. Not hating, the story was super good and complex. But it's not believable that Shun would all of a sudden go crazy and accept the killing guy(one the cops were after, forgot his name) after all he has done, especially since Shun was opposed to it before. Maybe so, but it's ok to have different opinions. Weird that I posted a few comments a while ago, and now your replies have been popping up under my comments everywhere. Strange.
