The art is fantastic, the amount of hours and effort it would take just to draw a single panel I am amazed.
I will sometimes just sit there and just look at the background pieces for a while because of all the detail put into it.
The story is also so good, I would recommend this to anyone and everyone.

So you pretty much killed it anyways, depending on the breaks that horse might of been put down anyways since recovery might not of been an option
A horse is not like a dog or a human, if one leg is done for the whole horse is done for pretty much
I worked years at a racetrack. If a horse has a break so bad that it’ll be left lame even when healed, they have to put them down. If the break is minimal as in hairline fractures they use a wide canvas type slip that’s attached to the ceiling with pulleys. The slip goes under the horses body to support his weight. They allow the hooves to barely touch the ground, which makes him calmer. They’re kept that way until the broken leg/s is completely healed.
