Dear lord, I can't really get a read on anyone anymore (⊙…⊙ )

I think the Doctor was not lying though. I think he obviously was biased and has been acting out of fear, BUT I do think he is right on Guwon killing his family and why he did it. Now, this doesn't mean Guwon is some sort of evil manipulator, I stand by the fact that he has some sort of innocence about him (perhaps he's never been taught to be human). This also doesn't make him right or a good person (people are responsible for their actions after all).

Teach however is a wild card, I re read some of the beginning and it's clear the truth is somewhere in the middle. He's not being malicious but Teach is scared of Guwon now, the same as the rest of the village (which may hurt him more in the future). My theory is that Teach's dad broke down after his wife died (as she was alone). Perhaps amongst the chaos the dad tried or accidentally hurt Teach, and Teach tried to defend himself and ended up killing his dad. Perhaps his dad ran away instead, but somehow Teach ended up alone where he was going to be robbed. Guwon then appeared. Regardless of the truth, it seems that Teach is traumatized by the event and has mixed the truth in his head based on his fear. And let's be real, who wouldn't be scared? Guwon is supposed to be at the compound, but he suddenly appeared at the scene of the crime with a big old smile. Like I would try to run.

Anyways, I was right. I knew that Teach being the moral compass of Guwon was a bad idea. Let's be clear, what is morality is actually such a divisive topic because it's not something that has one answer. The Golden Rule of respect itself has nuance, because yes you should treat others how you want to be treated but what about irredeemable criminals? Do they deserve respect even if they have never hurt you? What if they've actually made efforts to repent? Some would be more open to it than others. Life experience can influence how people interpret what morality is. So it's not surprising that Guwon will interpret what Teach teaches him based on his own previous ideas.

I'm gonna be honest, I'm not a fan of this one
#-.-)

I love the original series, but for some reason I don't vibe with this one. I don't know, like something about it pisses me off. I've tried to read it twice and it has good moments, but overall I don't really like it. I get that Miyoshi is a dick and that people want to bring him down his high horse, but I dislike the love interest. I also don't vibe with how unserious Miyoshi's problem is handled too.

Like the who stalker bit is meh, and maybe it's the aggressiveness? Idk, I just don't like the love interest. Looking back, I figured Miyoshi would have a very honest/kind love interest who would make him reflect, not forcefully make him realize his feelings. Like I feel Miyoshi just needed to see someone be honest with themselves to a fault, but that's on my own preferences not on what the story is.

I also disliked how they treated Miyoshi's problem like a silly little thing, like that man has serious problems and it's treated like he's just dumb. His whole life has been built on playing an instrument because he was told to do so, and now that he's doing it professionally, he feels trapped - if he leaves it then he wasted his time, but if he stays he has to push himself to be even better. Idk, it felt kind of dismissive of his own feelings, he was already self-reflecting, rather than talking to him, the love interest tested him in such a dick way. Maybe I'm biased on this because I know that despite not loving playing an instrument, I would fight anyone trying to destroy it (instruments are just generally expensive too).

Idk, maybe it's just a me problem. I've looked at the 2nd volume raws too and meh. I prefer the original series, I dislike this love interest, and I feel bad for how Miyoshi is treated. Idk idk idk

Regardless of the bad actors in the comments, I love seeing the reactions to their baby boy ♡♡♡♡

Like a baby Omega boy is a bit of karma for Teaju who is now going to have to be wary of the same scummy alphas like him lol

Anyways, fun fact - the author never revealed if the baby was going to be a boy/girl or alpha/omega. The only reveal was in the pregnancy check chapter, which does confirm a baby omega boy.

So some recap of the latest chapters:

-Cliff somewhat accepted Leon's feelings.
-Cliff helped Leon jack off (lol), mostly bc Leon was trying to get them to have sex but Cliff said no.
-Cliff was surprised by the guy who beat him up showing up.
-Leon woke up to Cliff being gone, and considering that Cliff was weakened it is unknown what happened exactly but the most possible scenario is that Cliff's enemy kidnapped him. Any reason is unknown.
-Leon went kind of crazy after Cliff disappeared. He was stuck inside their cavern home for a while but he learned to control his magic and began being a menace to his neighborhood.

There might be one last chapter for the side story before we get back to the main story. It seems however, that the likelihood that Cliff is alive is higher. Which does mean that it is possible that Leon could get rescued by Cliff if his own plan fails. But then again, Cliff's enemy could have imprisoned or messed with Cliff, but the author takes a lot of breaks so this will be a looooong ride.

Something makes me think Mr. A did not do anything lewd, its just Little A who is a freaky ass dude hahahaha

Which also makes me think the whole jealousy thing is more about just taking care of the farm animals but Little A is just a freaky ass guy and it sounds weird coming from him hahahahaha

I follow the author on twt/x, I have never seen anything there that indicated that the baby was going to be anything. The author didn't reveal it until the recent chapter, so anyone disappointed can chill lol

Like ppl threw around theories and held onto them so hard they are disappointed lol

Take this as a lesson to not be too attached to theories lol

Aside from the huge dick, we have got some interesting information to add to the bucket of (cu-!) information.

1. Guwon may be acting a lot of the time in front of people/humans. It seems he knows on a basic level that there are good and bad things, but he doesn't really know how to react appropriately to each situation or how to choose between morally ambiguous situations. It seems because of how he is as a person (huge, intimidating, strong) people tend to be scared of him, so they generally don't want to upset him - like when Teach first met Guwon, he did all he could to try and not be killed by Guwon. This creates a dynamic where the townspeople don't necessarily question Guwon on his actions because they risk becoming a problem that Guwon may want to get rid of. This is important because, although somewhat cruelly, the town has survived for so long because it follows the rules and follows the limits. Generally I think Guwon is acting because he wants someone to guide him, and so far the townspeople have been rightfully too scared to really do anything about it. Now he has Teach, who can guide him but the real question is if Teach should guide him. It is true that being too emotional in high stake situations can be bad, but it is also human nature to care - can Teach actually guide Guwon with nuance or will Guwon learn the wrong lessons? Another minor point is that Guwon gave Teach the necklace/ring but he isn't bothered by the necklace being abandoned - which shows that perhaps what Guwon said about the ring is something he heard not necessarily believes.

2. Teach is in love with Guwon, but Guwon is NOT in love with Teach. I think so far we have confirmation that Teach did fall in love, however Guwon feels something more like attraction or interest not actual love. This goes with my idea of Guwon acting because he doesn't know how to be human. For now Guwon is interested in Teach as a moral guide and teacher, that does not signal love although that could change, we just don't know yet. This is confirmed because of 2 things: Guwon wasn't even worried about the necklace/ring being abandoned (even when he said it was something that proved Teach was his only one, seems like little care was given to such an object being left behind) and Guwon still lusting and hoping to fuck Teach. It seemed like Guwon understood that Teach was upset, but that is pushed aside because he wants to fuck Teach and depending on if Guwon tries to force Teach or not, it will prove Guwon is morally 1 dimensional. Like I would be questioning what to do if someone told me they hated me because of my actions, not wanting to fuck them. But that only goes to show that Guwon is possibly not human or at least some sort of experiment that has difficulty understanding morality.

3. Everyone is lying but it's not necessarily because they're evil. Before I was 50/50 about the Doctor lying and now I'm closer to 80/20. He said that Guwon killed his wife and kids, but Guwon confirmed that there were more kids before who died although they tried to give them medicine and help them. So either the Doctor arrived after changes were made (meaning no more waste of medicine/no more extra people allowed) or the Doctor purposefully lied to Teach to get him emotional enough to want to help the kid and talk to Guwon. I think the Doctor was one of the old owners at the village (because of an earlier conversation with Teach) so it wouldn't make sense that his wife and kids were killed, but it's entirely possibly that they were outside of the village when everything went to hell and the Doctor did see his wife and children die. I also don't think it's out of real malice, but necessity to live and save others. Although it is scummy to hide behind Teach, who will have to bear the consequences.

Euihyun has suffered bc of being an Omega but now he'll have a kid whose going to be pampered and protected by his papas and uncle~~~~

I've always seen Teaju as a doting papa so he'll definitely be someone who'll be wrapped around Euiyun and his baby's fingers lololol

While I love thinking about what happened before the collapse, I am so much more curious about the future - and by extension so worried too. The MC has become very important to ML, but because the town citizens will do anything to ensure the ML is not angered/bothered, this does not bode well for MC. This is how their dependence on the MC will start, with small things that they hope the MC may influence - but it may extend to other things. The town's people may even force the MC to stay in the village or may even lock him up, to ensure that ML does not become upset/do something reckless if MC is gone.

But interestingly, I think MC may not be able to convince ML. That'll begin MC's second spiral, maybe we'll learn about his past. But man, the consequences are going to be interesting to see.
