To explain more: the clothes the salesman brought were clothes that tightened around the chest, not the stomach (which would be bad for her as her pregnancy progresses.)
That's why MaoMao suggests they ask if they have any other clothing types, especially that even if it's a coincidence, they might realize that Gyokuyou is pregnant anyway because she normally wears clothing that tightens around the stomach.
