It’s those type of storylines where it won’t always focus on those two but other characters intersecting with the main ones. It’s pretty good how they handle it and especially their trauma. If you mean Feng's aunt, it's Yi Yun's ovulated sperm and egg cell ready to be planted into surrogate mother. Feng keeps the cell after he change Yun's with his own but the aunt stole it thinking the cell is Feng's.
