Lol, in a way, I think this IS his other story--if I remember correctly, his first actual appearance is as an elementary/middle-school student in Tea for Two (I think it was Tea for Two, at least ;p)

No problem, my dude! He's just a supporting character, but it's a neat tie-in to this manga, I think :). (I think he's crushing on one of the male leads of Tea for Two, so that's who's being referenced in Yume Musubi as "the guy he has a crush on" ;p)

Poor shunpei he is a supporting character for two mangas and was silently rejected in both. He need his own happy ending!!!

I think other ppl have mentioned it in this post as well, the title is a tea for two, Shunpei is a middle school kid in that one and it is shown he starts to have feelings for the main uke, kind of like a first crush kind of thing. In this manga it is shown shunpei stated he liked a boy when they were younger to the ML and in the tea for two it shows us when he does realize his sexuality the link is

His name is junpei in the first intro of his character but it laters changes to shunpei and he appears in the middle of the manga as a judo student in the dojo Go-San visits
