I use to like this story when I was younger, but then I realised this had to the genesis shoujo for the toxic scum ML trope that happens to be handsome AND rich. But horrible personality.
A quick and brutal reminder if it werent for Rui, Makino would of been gang raped by those students that the ML sent after her in "revenge" for slapping him.
Yes - gang raped. Still we according to the author she wanted to ship the FL with Rui but fans insisted the ML instead. Wtf ?

The FL is an absolute submissive idiot and the ML is not a "sadist" he is just a jerk that is committing sexual harassment against a young intern.
he bullies and traps her into a coercive relationship, exploiting her insecurities to continue the entanglement.
She wouldn't last one day as a doctor. because her personality is too weak and she is too dependant on the ML and other "attractive" men.
Are asian women in their society really that submissive to this type of treatment and find this behavior attractive from men? wtf?
I ain't even a feminist yet I find this trope to be very nauseating as a female. Because the women are so weak and boring. That will endure any abuse thrown at them in hope for the "love" of these scumbags. They aren't even interesting or sexy men. Meh.

What a stupid story and an idiot FL.
The ML knew what his "friend" did but chose to bed her and remain silent because she wasnt "wothy" enough to be his bride. And did a "Veni, Vidi, Vici".
He gets with her merely out of a sense of duty and guilt for making his friend a cuckhold.
The female lead didnt love that "jeff" loser but stuck with him because she is needy and codependent.
I cant stand people with weak character. Both the FL and ML have this in common.
Why were the names changed? it's a korean comic the names should stay.
i noticed that when it is translated in chinese, they changed the names to chinese too
It dont make any sense.
They translated it from the chinese version easy as that.
when K/J comics are translated from spanish version we dont change the names to "spanish" ? so why does the "chinese" names need to be included when characters names are korean.
Kim Shin doesn't become Karlos Suarez if a translator picked up a spanish translation.
