If you're asking about the current events regarding their relationship then it isn't complicated, but I can't expalin to you the whole conflict about the mission because that would take long.

Just so you won't be confused, there are two people named Yunjae, and that's just a coincidence for plot.

Regarding their relationship, Hajun and Yunjae (Candy) used to be friends, got into an accident and got separated. Hajun didn't know him or his contact and relied only on his memory of him and his name. One day, he bumped into a kid whose name is Yunjae (the blonde) and saw a scar in his hand, Hajun thought Yunjae (Candy) got a scar in his hand because he saw blood during the accident so he mistook Yunjae (the blonde) as the "Yunjae" he was looking for.

During their separation, Hajun grew up to be a professor while Candy grew up to be an agent. Candy got assigned to him for a mission because Hajun's father is the subject of their mission and he is missing. Just note that they do not remember each other and Hajun already grew up thibking he had found the Yunjae he was looking for. In the mission, Candy is using Hajun to find clues for the whereabouts of his father. During the process, they started having feelings for each other and shit just happened over and over. Hajun began suspecting him and knew something is going on, Candy just can't seem to stabilize what's happening because he is falling for him and can't bring himself to lie but he still does for the sake of the mission.

That's just the summary and I left out other details but I hoped that helped.
