Favorite Yaoi/Shounen-ai stories that you feel are underrated (Around 8/10 or lower)?
You've probably read all of these already, and I don't know if they're up your alley, but these were the underrated ones off a list I collected of my favourites. So I liked them for various reasons:

(I think this one is underrated because the theme is about cheating, and some of the later stories haven't got the same resonance as the first one.)

(power imbalance story)

(espionage thriller with amnesia on the side)

(okay, this one's very dreamy, magic realist and nonlinear, so I can see why people didn't like it, but I really loved the art.)

It's a masterpiece.

Manga (Japanese)
Manhwa (Korean)
Manhua (Chinese)
I'm curious to know what people's preferences are? I have found that I prefer manhwa the most. The colored panels are nice, and I like that they are spaced out so I can see what is going on more easily. (=・ω・=)
I think you confuse "manhwa" with "webtoon".
Killing Stalking, Blood Bank, Royal Servant etc. are "webtoons". While things like this one are "manhwa" (just like manga only left to right reading)

Yes, of course :) Both the webtoons I mentioned and the manhwa I showed are from korean authors (as far as I know with the webtoons. I'm not sure about that. Could be taiwanese as well for all I know)
For webtoons another word is used (웹툰, weptun) not 만화, manhwa. Only books are considered manhwa, weil digital forms are considered as weptun
Agreed!
(Yet again I am not posting a question lol but....)
Omg guys. This isn't a new thing, but I just came across this video now and I have to share.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RjJEHZJ9MKA
This guy is so adorable, he doesn't even seem real. What is this trickery? Σ(っ°Д °;)っ
I can only think of Love Stage watching this. Especially since the announcers keep questioning his gender at first.
It starts with P and ends with "lastic Surgery"
Plastic Surgery. It's getting more and more common in Asian countries. Especially South Korea
Not a question, but just wanted to share... ლ(´ڡ`ლ)
I was in my very busy university library today studying. I was pretty bored and needed a break, so I considered changing the background photo of my laptop. Not very eventful, I know, so you are probably wondering where this is going. The part that I have yet to mention is that I was thinking of changing the photo to a picture of Kagami from the Kuroneko series. It was then, and thankfully before I searched, that I realized that looking up pictures of Kagami would most likely result in there being numerous panels of uncensored dick on my laptop screen... where everyone in my immediate vicinity would be able to see them. Σ(っ°Д °;)っ
Needless to say, that fact that this thought didn't occur to me until the last second makes me question how perverse my mind has become from reading so much yaoi. Especially since it was to the extent that I almost failed to consider it would be abnormal to look such things up in public. (╯°Д °)╯╧╧
Anyway, I thought that I would share because I found it to be pretty amusing and was wondering if anyone has done anything similar. ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
Well... my friend and i were sitting in the classroom filled with others and were reading Viewfinder...and as it had to happen our teacher came into the class and as we were sitting right next to the door there was no other way but for her to see the uncensored sexy scene of Asami and Akihito making out......
But the best thing was her reaction& the face she made.....she was like;
" OHH i see so this is now popular in your Generation...and we were like fuck did she really just see us reading yaoi manga at school"....while wearing a face that says" i should check what my daughter is reading in her room"
(≧∀≦)( ̄∇ ̄")
I read on the Facebook page that the Super Lovers chapter updates are only every 4 months. Is this true? If it is, then I am going to die of old age before their relationship becomes satisfying. (/TДT)/
I am pretty sure it's true - there are only a few releases per year - here is the wiki page with recent publish dates: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Super_Lovers
Was observing the expressions of characters' faces during a bunch of different yaoi scenes and noticed how funny and weird they can look if you really pay attention.
Post a link to the best expressions you've witnessed.

I literally burst out laughing in the middle of work. What kind of face is that?!
Every sex scene in Darkness Hound.
Lmao, they're basically this: https://i.ytimg.com/vi/cHVI2Fe82u8/hqdefault.jpg
It's the first funny agehao I've seen in Yaoi/ Bara. The first time I read it I remember cracking up a really long time.
