Historical pieces have always been my favourite, but throw in some smut and I'll be all over it. This one starts off rocky but the relationship between the ml and fl is incredibly sweet and steamy. I absolutely adore this story. Do note that it does come with its share of drama (-1 wholesomeness) and understanding the historical context is key for peak enjoyment.
