Well this is just my theory since i haven't reread the whole thing in a while.

Sooo, our timeline starts at yoon bum, since technically he was born before sangwoo. I didn't remember if anything significant was mentioned about bum's father and mother, except that they died when bum was still young. That's why he lived with his abusive uncle and his grandma. Well we all know that bum was raped by his uncle repeatedly saying "eunjoo, eunjoo" (name of bum's mom). And then the big revelation came when his uncle said that his mother run away with another man and even had him. So this is where my theory starts. Maybe, bum's mom didn't really die and run away with another man, Sangwoo's dad.

Next on our timeline is sangwoo's childhood. Sangwoo's dad and mom were happy, at least I think his dad was, haha. Then he was born, then, his mother became depressed and depressed which ended up on her smothering her own son. Sangwoo's dad saw this and i think this is where their relationship started crumbling until his dad abuse his mom and his mom poisoning his dad and blah blah blah. Theeennn this is my other theory, the day where sangwoo didn't come to school early and his mother was with another man. This was bum's uncle. (Btw, sangwoo's mom is called eunsoo)

So connecting the dots, when bum's uncle said that he was his mother's boyfriend, this was the time when sangwoo caught his mother having an affair. What's also evident is the resemblance of bum and sangwoo's mother. And bum's resemblance with his own mother as stated by his uncle. So maybe their relationship is an incestuous relationship with half brothers. (not that i mind that at this point (〜￣△￣)〜


Anyway~ this is just a theory and I'm still waiting for moarrr (づ￣ ³￣)づ
