I’m actually very sad now. I know it wasn’t going to have the happiest of endings but really hoped it wouldn’t come to this. However that was the mangaka’s intent with this story so I’ll respect it. They succeeded in communicating that the industry is dark and tried to leave the reader with the message to push forward despite how dark life can get. They succeeded in leaving me feeling bittersweet, but now I’m in much need of a happy detox.
