I just don't understand the point of a side story for characters you had absolutely no reason to like in the first place. I liked the spinel he had but the better ending would have been him being free.

This story turned into "Love Your Rapist" with these couples. Not even good development and storyline, just a cheap after telling with no real reason to love those people.
