And yet again Victor throws a tantrum instead of respecting a traumatized person's boundaries. Especially after he DID "lose" the keychain, which held significant meaning. Yes it was taken but it was in his possession now it's not. He is in the wrong for that. When someone has understandable trust issues and is begging for some space to think and contain their overwhelming feelings, storming off like a child doesn't help anything. Especially under the circumstances.
He’s just a guy, and last I checked he’s not in a serious relationship with jay. Jay is going through a lot and victor is trying his best to help. You have to remember that victor is Jay’s fuck buddy, not his therapist. Sure jay is going through stuff but you can’t expect that finding all of that out so suddenly was a walk in the park for victor. In the end, both these characters are human and flawed. They both react in different ways. You can’t hold it against either of them.
I can, actually. You don't have to be someone's therapist to respect that they're having an emotional meltdown down because you asked to end a 'relationship' (end the bet thing, he thinks it's because he learned his past) and then you've lost a verrryy sentimental item of theirs and shout about how you didn't lose it when it's gone, THEN when they beg for space you yell more and storm out. I can absolutely blame him for his own bad behavior. People who are overstimulated or having a panic attack need understanding and patience, which Victor being a normal dumb man, doesn't have. People keep thinking I'm saying Jay is all innocent, he's not, but it doesn't mean we can't hold Victor accountable for making the situation worse.

Then in one chapter he suddenly remembers you shouldn't kiss, grope, and rip the clothing off traumatized people. So yes it does get better. But then suddenly everyone that didn't like her begins to like her and... Idk something is missing. But I'm here reading lol

Not the morons in the comments forgetting that MC was god awful selfish, manipulative, and even used "we'll break up" as a threat to make ML do what he wanted in the relationship. Putting MC in the hospital ruined Heewon's mental health enough to make him break up. Then MC starts drugging out and sex partying. Even if you argue that Heewon could have risked warning him why would he when he knows MC very likely could have ruined the whole investigation? MC didn't deserve to have his hand held when they broke up, he made his own choices and went to Taeseo who had ALREADY drugged and sexually assaulted him twice. We don't have to agree on who's right wrong, they both are technically wrong, but MC was a shit human being for their relationship and after. Didn't deserve how the detectives treated him no, no one does. But he walked himself into it.

Personally, I love that he gave her a nudge, and SHE ran with it. The point of this story isn't the boring ass "Powerful ML saves helpless victim of a heroine", it's about a woman that was abused all her life and instead of therapy she got slightly hotter and power and knowledge that SHE can use to get her OWN revenge. She couldn't do it without him, but this is HER revenge. It suits his purposes at the same time. They're clearly catching feelings, but they're both focused on the wrong part of each other. His obsession with "creating" her, and her worship of him as a god.
I love how in the end she realized exactly what those mad at her in the comments have been screaming: Martina is dead, Astina loves Terriod. Like I get having unresolved issues for your past life, but she's also a full grown adult who's grown and built her life as a new person with her past memories. She married him knowing the curse. They got very close, if not already loved each other. Then her obsession with her past life almost ruined her current. A good read, but disappointed that two quick chapters seem to have resolved EVERYTHING.
