I heard SO many people talk about Zhenya being a major red flag (without explaining why) but I gave it a chance because I really loved the art I really started to enjoy the story and found their dynamic really funny, but oh man??? The last few chapters??? I was shocked at how quickly (and horribly) everything escalated. This might be hard for me to finish
the reason is very obvious. I mean did you even read the chapter's? i mean he manipulated him into thinking he wasn't psikh, and also raped him. You can see he didn't give him consent.
Oh no, I knew that pretty quickly! I meant I started reading without looking into why people said he was so horrible, but like you said, it’s obvious and he’s a major piece of shit from early on. I was trying to be vague for the sake of spoilers, but what I meant was I was shocked at how quickly the rape itself escalated (hence, my encompassing statement “the last few chapters”). Also I never said anything about whether or not there was consent or even talked about the rape in explicit terms for that matter! Those who are caught up will understand why I said it’d be difficult to continue reading. Hope this helps!

He figured it out, was angry at him for maybe 2 chapters, director apologized was forgiven and they supposedly have a normal relationship now. In the side story it’s mentioned that they regularly go on vacation to other countries together
