Crazy theory, but does anyone else get the feeling that Sono and his friend Shun that died might be the same person?
I'm thinking Shun faked his death and transitioned into Sono, based on his friends likes. They got plastic surgery and have to train to maintain a lighter-female voice.
And the "child" ghost is what Shun always saw of themselves as, a girl. IDK, the thing throwing me off was Sono giving that speech about periods and chemical abortions, so maybe I'm completely wrong on this. xD
Still, Sono definitely does give me the impression there is a lot more to her.
I just can't simp for the MC. She has a long way to go to develop some empathy and stop being so self-centered. Coming from a poor background isn't an excuse to act like a jerk, I would know.
I actually liked the chapter with Helena, it showed there is reasons for her stunted development. I don't like this trope that the MC has to dislike the herione just because she's naive, like what?
Yes she can cause problems due to ignorance but in the grand scheme of things she's not evil, just dumb. Like get over it, gurl. Anyway, like I said, still like the MC but hopes she grows up a bit more.
Okay but that was the real eris, you have to take into consideration that the person inhabiting the body isn’t the same soul so she didn’t have the background that you’re talking about. What’s on her mind is getting back home and finding the most efficient way to do so. I agree that I liked helens chapter and I do hope the FL softens up and they become friends. I also hope Helen doesn’t end up with Alec because he’s an ass
No I'm not talking about the real Eris, I'm talking about the girl who transmigrated into Eris body. I forget what chapter it is specifically but MC is lamenting that her father and mother baby her brother while she needs to work to be able to pay for college, as well as secretly resents a naive friend who tries to simplify how difficult it can be to get resources.
I mean those are all valid feelings... it's when she lets the resentment get the better of her and instead of trying to make people understand her position, she instead begins lashing out, distancing herself, and having a superiority-mindset to everyone around her that it frustrates me. Her attitude around the 'fictional' characters in this universe is the worst for me, treating everyone around as tools and then at the same time, disliking for not recognizing her feelings.
She's being written as a hypocrite and I think the author is self-aware of this aspect of the MC. We'll probably get growth out of her, when she begins to get closer to the knight I'm thinking but I don't know if she'll really develop her empathy enough to shake her out of that stupid superiority complex.
Her goal is to get killed guys. She wants to die and get reincarnated back to her world... thats why she is an ass to the heroine, so the male leads would kill her.( ̄∇ ̄") and I read some Spoiler,

they said she will get a happy ending but there will be quite a few things happening and people we like will be ending up with sad ends, bjt she will find love and the person will also love her to death.╥﹏╥ but it is supposed to be a happy ending. I really hope that it will come true as they said in spoilers. It would be different than the cliche we are presented all the time. (=・ω・=)
She's an ass to a lot people not just the heroine.
Like when she threatened the bodyguard before she decided to appoint him and keeps insisting on classism and status when having arguments.
I get her goal is to make the male lead kill her but there are ways to do that without being disgruntled to everyone around her. I mean she says it in her thoughts, she views them as tools not people.
Though she does contradicts this at times, because she does show some affection to her staff.
But yea, I'm not saying I want this to turn into a cliche everyone needs to love and support the MC but if she'd be a bit less unsympathetic, I'd be able to support her more in the story lmao.
This is my opinion, but i'm not trying to convince you to like the MC because everybody has their opinion^^. So imo,
1. its because she doesn't really feeling it to live in the world she transmigrated to, she hate it. Like she said in the beginning.
2. She like being an ass to everybody so that she had all the swords pointing to her neck and die eventually. Basically like a back-up plans.
3. She feels like there is no need to be nice to everyone since the real Eris also an ass to other people. She trying to act like the real Eris to certain that she think important characters, so nobody get suspicious towards her. But by being like the real Eris, the closest people already now that she wasn't the real Eris because some details action.
I guess thats how her mind work right now.
That's fine, I don't mind you trying to express your opinions/thoughts.
1. Yea, I definitely agree she feels a lot of resentment being in this world, it doesn't excuse her actions but I understand her feelings.
2. While I think at the beginning this strategy made sense, her inner thoughts never really displayed much hesitance or reluctance in acting cruel. Also at this point she's already acknowledged trying to kill herself isn't going to solve her issues since she is fighting vs causticity and the destiny of the world and she might just resurrect in the same fictional world and not her original body. If anything this should inspire her to act against the Eris persona and deviate from her story arc as much as possible.
3. As mentioned above, I don't think she should care about staying within the same story anymore and even do the exact opposite at this point. She has deviated from the story in some key ways already by letting the priest know about her situation as well as raising suspicion from the knight. I get the feeling Helena has also picked up something is different.
Anyway, yea I think her reasoning is pretty bad here. Maybe she isn't thinking with a clear head but she honestly reads as mostly spiteful. Hopefully she gets over it as she becomes more attached to the characters around her. *shrugs*
I kind of get your feeling. I would probably be slightly concerned for them. But who knows what will happen when I leave. What if they just forget everything and go back to the starting point again, and repeat the same story again. It would be wasted effort, and hypocrisy to think that one can leave behind something for certain in such an uncertain situation. She doesnt know how/why she got here exacly on what purpose and hkw to get back for sure, in a way that she wouldnt have to die. So like...why would she behave like an angel to them if they are characters that are not sure that they are allive. They may only have feelings that the book describes they have, and arent able to deviate from the story. Like the crownprince. He seems like the most plot chained character. ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭ So I cant tell her feeling rightous to feel emphaty for the characters. She already had a distance keeping personality in her past life. So not like she has to change. This is just my oppinion. But if you read a bit of the manhwa Insow's law, then it could happen similarly here, or a completely different way. She do not know what will happen once she leaves, so she is not putting effort into something that is most likely useless. Again just my oppinion. ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
Oh I read Insow’s Law it’s really good. Also I respect your opinion. It’s just for me I would have just been angry at whoever sent me. I understand the MCs POV. It doesn’t matter if she had a purpose there, tbh it should be more of a choice to be there. And maybe I do have lack of emotions, but I just know everyone is a piece of poo and I have no idea who these people are.
Hmm, I think I'm misunderstanding something because from what I read the witch told her that even if she plans to die, she won't get sent to her original body. So her acting within the grounds of the plot doesn't really matter, she needs to do something else to fight vs destiny.
And yea, I got the impression she'd grow to be attached to the knight.
Maybe it's just me, but I don't take Yuri's words or inner thoughts at face value. His actions can and do contradict how he expresses himself. Don't get me wrong, he's a toxic asshole who does not seem to care about how his words can hurt others, but he HAS changed a little bit since the start of the series.
It would be very easy for him to avoid Jiri if he truly hated him, but he's done the opposite. He seeks him out, tries to get closer to him, and some twisted ways even tries to protect him. As shown by this chapter where he redirects Jiri's unrequited love's attention to himself, when he talks about blind dates.
He's still got a long way to go, to make up for all the shit he's pulled in this 40+ chapter manga and how he's been emotionally (and physically in one case) abusive to Jiri --- but I do think his attitude is changing. Well I ever really like him.... ? Who knows, but I'm still interested in the story to find out.
Jiri deserves better but reading about the two of them as very broken people, is interesting.
Ugh the uke is being dumb. If you just wanted him for sex, why would you even avoid him in the first place. If you didn't care, you wouldn't be intimidated in the first place.
>_>
Hopefully he'll stop being annoying soon, I liked him better when he was just cautious about entering a relationship instead of outright lying.
The ML personality is trash but I guess that fits the description being a psychopath. He's the emperor but just casually acknowledges and seems to uphold slavery.
The FL is pretty selfish herself (she clearly did not care about saving anyone but herself) but she's not really in a position of power to help anyone else I guess.
Oh well, I'll keep reading for now but I get the feeling he's not gonna grow on me...
the brother is giving off 'evil'
