Maybe is spoilers.
Yeah, the author made such a lazy writing. Poor him, he didn't even realize he liked her, he had to go out and fuck other women in the hopes of gaining her attention, but of course, this is only subconsciously, and he only realized after marriage. Oh my, I'm such a trash and don't deserve you. Then after seeing how beautiful she is, he is suddenly loyal and in love. Pff get out of here. He didn't even try to hide from the whole fucking capital he was sleeping around, not giving the FL the slightly bit of respect a fiancee should have. But then again, surprise surprise, he only slept around in the capital! Back at home he was a saint that only knew how to work hard! Isn't this deserving of praise?! The art is amazing, I give that. But I can't continue this story. I read the spoilers about the shit that went down in their previous life and I think is just bad writing to justify that the ML slept around. Fuck this, I'm out.
If this wasn't drawn with a comical tangent, the story could only be sad. The emperor is foolish and easily manipulated, he fell prey to many tatics by those who just want something from his position. He's gullible and thinks anyone different from him is wrong. He judges books by their covers. Yes, he changes, but so what. If the empress wasn't so happy go lucky, this sotry could only end in tragedy. He is not worthy of her. And I can't bring myself to find this story cute or whatever, I can only think how the empress would wrongful die if they didn't switch bodies, or how her whole family would be killed if the emperor wasn't forced to live like her.
You guys... Someone said she slept with the dad (only based on the raws) and soneone said this is not true at all, she never sleeps with him... well, I'll just continue reading this as of now I am more interested in the FL's best friend's story haha (I really want to know how the situation with her adoptive brother is going to stay and if that younger guy will ever have his chance with her) (=・ω・=)
This story is packed with clichés. I find the FL who’s forgiving to everyone, even those who hurt her, really hard to relate to. If clichés and feel-good tales are your thing, you'll probably enjoy it. It’s well-crafted, but just not my style.
