I’m genuinely just curious how this author intends to “stick the landing” for this but in all honestly the ML is a terrible guy and an even worse romantic partner. I’ve grown to accept that’s genuinely what BL readers enjoy as it can be just swept under the rug as “angst” and the amount of times I’ve read this word as defense for anything remotely problematic that clearly just wasn’t properly researched or considered by the author in an authentic reaction or response to a character’s actions/behavior has let me know how little people genuinely value healthy depictions of love if given the opportunity. Not everything has to be sweet and charming, but if you want to write realism, actual write realism but whatever half the garbage of have your cake and eat and too that BL is adamant on of promoting and perpetuating problematic and even dangerous romantic ideals but ignoring its contributions to rape culture, domestic abuse, and misogyny.

im actually dumbfounded about the ratio of likes dislikes you have bcs you are so righttt idk how they cannot see that ml is a fucking red flag that even shines in the dark like he is radioactive toxic if that makes sense. What surprises me is that even if you find it so toxiccc and you know that the mc is going to end with the person you hate so much. You still keep reading every chapter and come here in the comments to shit. Then you read again and then shit again. Its like a cycle. And such comments ruins the mood of ppl that are actually enjoying it.!

I wholeheartedly agree I was hoping that the ML would somehow change for the better but oh well. I actually rlly like MC's personality cause he's always self-analyzing his actions. But I'd also like to mention that Yoongun's character is quite different from the one's I've read till now. He's pretty smart. And even the readers knew that Kyuho still likes Yoon. And even he can tell that Kyuho still likes him. And yea it is pretty shitty to keep pushing and all. But Kyuho likes/liked Yoon at some point. And Yoon having just realizing his feelings after never being in love given his character would definitely feel desperate to get Kyuho back.

The only thing that irks me with what he said is "I respect what you want but he cant date other". Lol this bitch

ML broke his heart bc he was too slow at realizing his own feelings… like MC went thru so much grief and hes just supposed to forget about that bc ML realized his feelings now?? Yeah I like that part of his personality, he is smart and rational and he acknowledged the way he feels. But he sometimes come off as someone who want people react to him according to him.

He practices psychology lol. Manipulation at its finest - albeit deemed negative but it's not bad all the time. He navigates people the best way that benefits everyone imo. The only problem with him is because he is too smart and overly protecting himself from getting hurt, it took him a while to realize he was already in love. Him being this pushy is him realizing if he lets go of Kyuho, he'll regret it and miss the biggest opportunity of his life. So yeah, getting Kyuho back is beneficial for him the most but he knows Kyuho will benefit from it too.

Doctor found out who actually killed his brother (it was the ML, only the Mc new the truth so far) and he is probably going to do the same stuff on the MC (cutting his tongue off and killing him or any other torture) to get revenge on the ML. That’s my theory at least

I couldn’t understand either, I just know that he did it on the day him and MC met for the first time (and he is using MC as an alibi for that murder + everyone now believes MC’s cousin did it which ain’t true) I’m trying to figure out why he did that. I think that he was one of many kids that suffered in that mansion (under Mc’s -not blood- related perverted uncle), but not sure if I got that right

Oh wait, ML’s assistant said in one of the recent chapters that he is glad about that guys death (doctors brother) and that he had an older sister who also died in that mansion or smth. I think she is the one we saw in some of the files that happen to appear in the doctor’s hand. That brother must’ve done smth to make both the ML and his assistant go after him for revenge or so. It’s really confusing
