everyone read it differently but, maybe, in reality, he's in a coma or something, like from the beginning. In his "dream" with the mansion and stuff, he is stuck, same thing, nothing changes. When Jesse took off the bandage on Law, he bled because Law is a projection. So when he took of the bandage he bled because all of this is just his (Jesse's) dream? i dont know if that made sense... lol But basically, Jesse is stuck in a dream/coma which explains the long time and unchanging characters/events. No scars because nothing changes, ya feel. lol But the thing where whenever Jesse wakes up from a nightmare he's with Law, I think it's because in the reality (outside this coma-mansion place thing?) he used to wake up with Law next to him, they were lovers. It could be that Law died in that reality, so Jesse cannot trust the Law in the dream. he is kind of conscious that this Law in the dream is fake but Jesse cannot figure out why he seems fake, so he thinks he is tricking him, but subconsciously, in reality, he knows Law is no longer alive (the tomb image of law) And the reason Law cannot escape with Jesse is because Law is only a projection in Jesse's dream. He isn't real, therefore, cannot escape Jesse's dream world. The end being near is Law's understanding that Jesse's body must wake up soon.

OK and you know in the beginning, the scene of Law pushing Jesse off the cliff? It was in the snowstorm, but in the beginning it was spring? So it must've been like... a bit from the future.(lol more Inception vibes.) I feel like, in the coma, Jesse was soon gonna die so he would have to wake up. Maybe Jesse didn't want to leave without Law so Law pushed him off to wake him up from the dream, to save him from dying in reality? idk there are loop holes but lowkey wishing it was something like this (=・ω・=)

He had flashbacks of the future? All the rest of what you said does make sense, however.
wishful thinking: i hope s2 changes this from shounen ai to yaoi ⁄(⁄ ⁄·⁄ω⁄·⁄ ⁄)⁄
