Why do people hate this book so much? Its extremely popular and widely loved because of how amazing it is. So why do so many people hate it ?
I think it's cuz how Alex treats dg in the beginning/middle. There are toxic moments that cross the line. Like if Alez was a real dude then there would be probs. rereading the story you see how nasty Alex's personality is and how he treats DG super badly. It promotes how toxic people can be fixed at the expense of someone else's health. If you would like to see what the people who don't like it mean then I would recommend that you reread but try to put urself in DG's shoes and imagine how it would feel to be treated like that. But ultimately this is for people 18+ and its just a comic. ╮(￣▽￣)╭
tbh i usually just read the sex scenes and the ending when I wanna see the characters bc that's when the characters are (usually) all while and healed instead of dark and twisty.
