I really like this manga adaptation, but I still feel rather disappointed because it doesn't show the other characters perspective (one of my favorite ones is Maria's). I think it makes a lot of plot holes and doesn't deliver all the feelings that the novel does (I'm talking about the other characters perspective, as an adaptation of Katarina's perspective is really accurate and well done, for me at least).

When I saw this first chapter in the list of Updates I didn't know it was Nurarihyon no Mago's mangaka. I really like his art and the story seems interesting, so I'm gonna read it to the end.

Well, the art is not the best and the story is kind of messed up and hard to follow....but it's really interesting : D
This is just all over the place. I think it tried to make a story but it was so confusing I really couldn't understand it at all. If this is the one-shot its ok, but if all the manga its gonna be like this...just (╯°Д °)╯╧╧
I'm actually of the opposite opinion. I think that as a one shot the different story aspects they introduced don't connect and would make the story fall apart. But if the story has the chance to continue and brings every thing together... I think this story has some serious potential and I really look forward to see how things develop.
well, that's why I said that it was ok as an one-shot. The manga is trying to say so many things at the same time that its confusing. Its common in one shots, but my problem with this is that it says a lot but it doesn't take the time to explain and develop the characters or the situation. But, I repeat, as an one shot is ok. However, if this is the first chapter of a serialized manga, it sucks. (︶︿︶)
