Nora helped him realize that his feelings towards Shuli changed since the trial in the second timeline, so no Jeremy won’t be endgame. Plus Shuli always saw him as her son. After the trial and his path towards her he eventually lost his feelings for her, the translation is right but this point of the story doesn’t explain why he feels this way until later.
