With this ending I’m upset that they gave so much screen time to choi yul during season 1 when they’re just going to make him a fckng jerk bastard underserved attention in my opinion.
I think Choi Yul wanted a closure over what happened in the past, in fact both of them no matter how much saetbyeol ignoring his own feelings. He moved on at the end of the day, and grow as a person who doesn’t see ‘the second gender’ as the most crucial thing to a person. The execution might be a bit too quick at the end, but I can see his good intentions.
Bruh he was still a jerk not even a remorse or a little sorry when he caused Saetbyul some trauma.. no redemption at all. His character’s selfish and still I think he does not deserve all that attention at all like he’s supposed to be a character with significance when he’s just another trash. From what I remembered from the novel, he acted weird on their way back NOT because he wants to confirm if he can get it up knowing he’s a guy or something, but because he was having turmoils if Hakyung would like him cause HE is a guy.
Yoonsung like Hakyung (whether he’s a guy or girl), he really doesnt care. He just likes Hakyung and he is confident that Hakyung will eventually like him as long as he pursues him. However, he thought that maybe because Hakyung is a guy, he doesnt have a chance to him (in short, what if Hakyung is straight and he can’t consider Yoonsung as a romantic partner)
This is one of the beautiful parts for me in the novel. When he found out, he was angry not because Hakyung is a guy but because he thinks that Hakyung will not like him
