I don't really like this manga. It reminds of okane ga nai / no money except the uke wasn't brought into sex slavery. The seme in this one just uses the uke when ever he wants. He knows the uke's father is ill and he knows the uke is not in a good place but abuses him anyway and just treats him as property.
I get the seme is upset that the uke left but he was his childhood friend. Also when the seme eventually learned the truth behind the uke's disappearance years ago, he doesn't show that much remorse and the uke pretty much shrugs it off.
actually i thing both mangas are diferent, the seme in here did regret thats why he left, but the uke chase for him and told him that he only needs to take responsability at being with him forever, the seme did abuse the uke in his bad situation but he truly loved him before and became a scar that never heal so he wanst thinking in anything other that his pain thats why he didnt stop even when someones life was on the line, at the end even if he didnt get at much pain as the uke he tattoed hinself, so they can be a little more equal, in my opinion this manga is a loooooot better than okane ga nai
yuki's felling were sooo pure that were dazzling, and i ked to see the seme refleting and trying to think from uke's perpective
The seme didn't really fully reflect on his actions at all though. I don't get why the seme would want to put the uke through so much pain, and humiliation without even asking for an explanation, and then just hug him and say sorry and that was it. Also the uke didn't seem mad or outrage at all.
At least this manga has a more of a plot and less creepy then no money manga. I will say that, lol.
Let's be honest ... there really isn't a plot. They screw and screw. At least in yaoi smut there is a plot or at least a dilemma. There is better yuri smut out there. This particular one is just not a good example of good yuri.
I love how Norman and Ray are mature and brilliant and especially love how the author experiments with different facial expressions for different moods and to show how crazy the characters can really be!
Ya know, I was really digging this story and loving everything about until Chiaro fell in love with Caesar's sister. It really is a sad thing when you guy you liked decided he likes your sister more. There is no worse ending than hey, Chiaro abandoning Caesar after everything they been though.

No one's asking you to like him coz he IS horrible (and I still like him) but if you do manage to read this entirely, you'll have a different outlook on life.And also, why should he have helped her? Yea, people help each other and all that and I'd definitely be more than grateful for that help but not all people are helpful and assuming that being helped by the people around you is your birthright is kinda...The thing is, you want the seme to be a good guy but he isn't.If you can, accept it and read on.
I'm having trouble understanding this story. Is uke the killer? Is the seme trying to make the uke's life terrible? I really don't get it. The seme wants to make out, and screw the uke everytime they're alone and I really don't know why. If he's making out or just having a smoke, the seme is always there getting into his personal bussiness.

It was his own son. It was quite a smart move, as it did get the kids to settle down somewhat. Since it was his own son, it would've been likely that he could've talked it over with him... even though getting stabbed by your own parent is not a 'whoopsies sorry' thing.

Even when you think the characters are superficial and the designs are just meant to be pretty, you realize the storyline is pretty deep, and the characters have more layers of depth. Wow.
At first I thought magicians just eat each other because that's how they're made up and then you read about Ben. This is deep as heck.
