Me too. But pink actually makes more sense. He's supposed to be a fire user (like Natsu) and his Mom is supposed to be one of the most gorgeous demons.(anime logic; hot/sexy ladies always have pink hair,but it's mostly hot pink...)
His original hair colour is blue (his eyelashes are black) He put on a black wig while he was cross-dressing. Maybe that's why you misunderstood?
