What's fundamental to a good story?

I only have 3 criteria for a story to be good for me or at least enough for me to finish reading it XD Either they have all three or they only meet one. 1. Visuals- I need the art style to be pleasing if it's a visual media plus the editing and visual effects. In writing, the characters should at least have one eye candy (quite shallow but sue me)....... reply

Right now, it's Wet Sand. I had so much hope it'd be good but it just went downhill and the only way to redeem the story is for the MC to be gone idc XD Like the character downgrade hurts me, I kept asking myself "Why do we even have this story in the first place??" Jo needs to be free from Ian and the author 1 reply
